Our bodies are hubs of energy, spark and vitality and the way we treat it determines the extent of productivity and wellness that we will experience. Wellness comes from within and small acts of self-love are the ways to enhance our body’s biological and emotional well-being. Following a few simple rituals and self-care habits can go a long way in keeping you healthy and full of vigor. Your ideal self-care routine has been jotted down below -

Map Out Your Day In The Morning

Mornings are extremely crucial when it comes to setting the tone for the day. The time when you wake up is the time when you can get your mind straight and get to work. You can use this period after you get up in writing down something you are grateful for, or dedicate it to simple rumination on positive thoughts before getting out of bed. Just make sure you avoid touching your phone and start the day with a heart full of love, kindness and compassion. The resulting day will be much brighter than you might have expected.

Prepare a Healthy Breakfast

Always make sure that the first meal of the day is the most solid. Your breakfast ought to be full of essential nutrients and comprises various superfoods and fruits that add to the goodness of your diet. You can keep changing your food preferences depending upon the diet you are following, but do not forget to assimilate superfoods in whatever you eat. Get in the habit of consuming a few ‘routine’ superfoods like chia seeds, flaxseeds, granola, quinoa, avocados, veggies, or healthy beverages like matcha latte, green coffee, to name a few. These foods maintain the health of your immune system and ensure optimum well-being. Surely the best form of self-care!

Devote Some Personal Time

In today's busy world, squeezing in some dose of “me time” can be really hard. Scheduling some personal time each day can act as a reminder of who you really are and what you aspire for. Just try and take out 10 minutes of meditation, or light some sage or lavender to deep-clean the air and mind. While on other days you can simply spend a few minutes on goal-setting in journal. The important part about taking out 10 minutes for yourself is that it keeps you centered on life and helps you keep a track of day-to-day activities.

Take a Break to Unwind

If you are staying up late to check that one last work email, scroll through social media, or to drink alcohol, then you need to change that habit. Getting proper sleep can genuinely ensure that you work as your best possible version. However, giving yourself a downtime of at least 30 minutes before going to bed is necessary to wind down and relax. Keep yourself absolutely devoid of any stimulation and avoid using phones. You can relax yourself with an Epsom salt bath, soothing music therapy, read your favorite book, or come close to nature. You will be amazed at the mindful advantages that you gain through your sleep.

With all these small rituals in mind, you can carve the path for a brighter tomorrow and provide with the self-care you deserve.
